DEM’s Workday development nearing the finish line
With just a few months remaining before the Administrative Transformation Program goes live across campus, DEM is shifting focus from software development to testing.
During February and March, DEM teams coordinated and collaborated on SIS Dress Rehearsal activities in preparation for the July launch. The dress rehearsal was a success, providing reassurances and valuable information for future testing iterations. The goal is to complete all SIS-related development by mid-April, allowing functional workflow/regression testing and integration testing to begin in mid-May.
Simultaneously, several DEM team members have gained hands-on experience with Workday to ensure a smooth transition when it goes live for the entire campus on July 1. Workday training will be available to all UW employees starting in May.
