Countdown to Workday: With one month to go, focus shifts to validation

✅ Development? Check. ✅ Regression testing? Check. 📍 Validation: You Are Here. ⏱️ Go-Live: One more month! As we approach the July 3 go-live date for Workday, momentum is strong across DEM. Teams are working diligently to ensure the Student Information System (SIS) is fully prepared for this transformative milestone. We’ve now entered the final and most critical phase of readiness: validation. This stage represents the culmination of months of planning, development, and collaboration, as we rigorously test every system, process, and data point to ensure a seamless and successful launch. With development work mostly complete, the second half of May was dedicated to thorough regression testing in the SISTST environment. In early to mid June, DEM team members will transition into the validation phase within the SISQA environment—our final proving ground before go-live. After that, it’s just a matter of weeks until we flip the switch to Workday Finance and HR. Once Workday is live, the teams will shift into “support mode,” ready to triage and resolve any issues that may arise. If you notice anything that isn’t working as expected after go-live, you’ll be able to submit a support ticket. More details on that process will be shared next month—stay tuned!
